The National Tractor Pulling Championships began in 1967.  Other exciting events are the Annual Quilt Fair & Workshops – Archbold, Ohio,  there are workshops available to help improve your quilting experience, and the Van Wert Peony Festival – Van Wert, Ohio. The festival celebrating the importance of the Peony to Van Wert began in 1902 when the first Sunday in June was designated as “Peony Sunday.”
